1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy defines how the data of visitors to https://info.domcom.org — the website of the DomCom service — is collected, processed, used, stored and protected.

DomCom is a service for managing the infrastructure of a residential complex: video surveillance, barriers with licence plate recognition, intercoms and digital keys gathered in one app. The website is informational: it describes the service and allows a connection request to be submitted.

This Policy describes data processing on the DomCom website and does not extend to other products and services of Megacam LLP, nor to the DomCom mobile app used by residents of connected residential complexes.

By submitting a request through the form on the website, the visitor confirms that they have read this Privacy Policy.

2. What data the website collects

The website consists of one informational page and this Policy. The only means of data collection on it is the request form in the “Contacts” section.

Data from the request form

The request form processes:

  1. the name provided by the visitor;
  2. the phone number.

There are no other fields in the form. The website asks for neither an email address, nor a company name, nor a job title.

The visitor must not enter information unrelated to the enquiry into the form, including personal data of third parties.

Technical information about requests

When the website is accessed, the web server hosting it may record in service logs:

  1. the network address of the device;
  2. the date and time of the request;
  3. the requested page address;
  4. the type and version of the browser and operating system;
  5. the address of the page the visitor came from.

Data submitted through the request form is processed in order to:

  3. discuss the terms of connecting DomCom;
  4. if required, visit the site, assess the equipment and calculate a solution.

Technical information from the service logs is processed in order to:

  1. maintain the operability of the website;
  2. detect and fix failures;
  3. protect the website against unauthorised access and automated attacks.

The data is not used to show personalised advertising, is not passed to advertising organisations and is not sold.

Processing of the data submitted through the request form is carried out on the basis of the visitor’s consent. Consent is expressed by pressing the “Send” button; the note directly under the button states that pressing it means agreeing to this Policy.

Filling in the form is voluntary. Without submitting it, the visitor can read the entire content of the website and contact Megacam LLP by phone, email or messenger listed on the website.

Processing of technical information from the service logs is carried out on the basis of the operator’s legitimate interest in maintaining the operability and security of the website.

Processing is carried out in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on personal data and its protection.

6. Who has access to the data

Data submitted through the request form is available to authorised employees of Megacam LLP responsible for handling enquiries.

Besides them, access to the data may be held by:

  1. the provider of the server infrastructure hosting the website — to the extent necessary for its maintenance;
  2. state authorities — in the cases provided for by law.

The infrastructure provider gets access only to the data necessary to deliver the service and may not use it for its own advertising or marketing purposes.

The data is not passed to other third parties and is not transferred outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

7. Data storage and retention periods

The data is stored on the servers used by Megacam LLP to run the website and handle enquiries.

Requests are stored until the enquiry has been handled. If the enquiry results in a contract, the retention period is determined by that contract and by the legislation on document retention.

The web server service logs are kept for a limited technical period and are then overwritten.

The data is not stored longer than necessary for the purposes named in this Policy. Once the period expires, it is deleted or anonymised.

Backups may be kept for a limited technical period after the data has been deleted from the main system.

The visitor has the right to:

  1. learn whether their data is processed and which data exactly;
  2. request that the data be clarified or corrected;
  3. request that the data be blocked or deleted;
  4. withdraw previously given consent.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. After withdrawal, processing stops and the data is deleted unless its further storage is required by law.

There is no personal account on the website, so data cannot be deleted through the website independently — this is done upon request.

9. Data protection

Organisational and technical measures are applied to protect information, including:

  1. data transfer over a secure connection using HTTPS and TLS;
  2. limiting the circle of employees with access to enquiries;
  3. separation of access rights;
  4. protection of the server and network infrastructure;
  5. backups;

10. Data of minors

The website is addressed to developers, management companies and homeowner associations and is not intended for children.

Personal data of persons under 18 is not collected deliberately. If it becomes known that a request was submitted by a minor without a proper legal basis, such data will be deleted.

The website connects no third-party services for its own operation: fonts, images and styles are served from its own domain, and there are no counters or widgets on the pages.

At the same time, the website contains links to external resources:

  1. WhatsApp — the “Message on WhatsApp” button in the page header;
  2. the Megacam LLP website https://info.megacam.kz/;
  3. the Astana Hub technology park website https://astanahub.com/ru/ — the participant badge in the page footer.

Following such a link takes the visitor outside the website. Data processing on external resources is governed by their own privacy policies, and this Policy does not extend to it.

By starting a conversation through a messenger, the visitor passes their data not only to Megacam LLP but also to the owner of the messenger, who processes it under their own rules.

12. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Policy may be changed when:

  1. the set of data collected by the website changes;
  2. new forms, sections or services appear on the website;
  3. third-party services are connected;
  4. legal requirements change;
  5. the hosting arrangements of the website change.
